Greater Sudbury’s own report on air quality trends is called Clearing the Air. An updated version with more data is published approximately every 5 years using information from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, the Sudbury Sulphur Dioxide Monitoring Network, Glencore Sudbury INO and Vale.
For Clearing the Air 2016, there are Summary Reports available in both French and English. They are provided below.
Occasionally, Clean Air Sudbury will contract an air quality specialist to produce specialized reports on specific air quality topics in Greater Sudbury. The two reports below are the results of this work.
Clean Air Sudbury prepared this report with the hope that you will learn more about the current environmental initiatives being carried out at a local and global scale by various organizations in Greater Sudbury and become inspired to take action yourself. The intention is to bring awareness to our changing climate and help communities and people prepare, mitigate, adapt and respond in hopes to lessen its effects.
The committee members of Clean Air Sudbury often make presentations and hold workshops at all types of environmental events in Greater Sudbury and beyond. You can access our educational presentations below.
